Myrna Ericksen

I'm a mother of six, 3 boys and 3 girls. I was born in the Panama Canal Zone and traveled back and forth to the U.S. with my parents during my growing up years. We drove across country and sometimes settled in one State for a year before returning to the Canal Zone. After marrying my engineer husband we continued traveling with his work for General Electric. We always kept our home base in California where we raised our children. I began my writing career with poetry and submitting articles to spiritual magazines. This led me into writing books and eventually writing in many different genres. I couldn't have had the insights to do this without the experience of raising a large family and traveling so extensively. I've traveled to Spain and Italy but would love to see more of Europe. Still I recommend everyone see this great country first, as we are such a diverse and spectacular nation. I began writing books after all my children had graduated from high school. It was a wonderful time as I bought my first computer and it was smooth sailing from there on. That is, after I taught myself how to use it with much trial and error, and maybe a few tears.
