Errol St. Clair Smith is CEO of Flipped Learning Worldwide and the architect of the Flipped Learning Global Initiative. Over the last decade, he has worked closely with education thought leaders including five years as the executive director of the Academy of Education Arts and Sciences. In 2005, Smith led the development of online media channels for the nation’s leading education associations and co-founded the BAM Education Radio Network. He continues to serve as Executive Producer at the nationwide network overseeing professional development programming for the Association of Curriculum Developers (ASCD), the American Association of School Administrators (AASA), the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), and the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO), among others. Smith worked as a corporate trainer for 14 years before moving into education media. Smith has four Emmy nominations and received an Emmy Award for informational public affairs programming in 2002. Smith is a private pilot, a yachtsman, and accomplished photographer who lives with his wife of 29 years in southern California.
