Libby Woodfin

Libby Woodfin is the director of publications for EL Education. Woodfin started her career as a fifth- and sixth-grade teacher, and went on to become a counselor at a large comprehensive high school before arriving at EL Education in 2008. Throughout her career Woodfin has written about important issues in education. Her books include Leaders of Their Own Learning: Transforming Schools through Student-Engaged Assessment, Transformational Literacy: Making the Common Core Shift with Work That Matters, Management in the Active Classroom, Learning That Lasts: Challenging, Engaging, and Empowering Students with Deeper Instruction, and Familiar Ground: Traditions That Build School Community.
