Gerald Libonati

Originally from New York, I grew up in South Florida. Aside from the stories I forced my childhood friends to listen to, I started writing for the University of Miami Hurricane, then went to work for various newspapers including the Miami Herald and the Sun Sentinel.

My mainstream sci-fi/fantasy novel, Blue Nights in Atlantis, suggests that human evolution was assisted; not necessarily by a supernatural force but by something much closer. It s an adventure that includes UFO s, magic squares, romance, blood lines and global transformation.

The Adjuster is a story of romance and time travel; and times sure have changed. I wondered what would happen if you took a modern, confident gay man and set him down in a pre-Stonewall society where attitudes were very different. Jack Winston comes into possession of a mystical icon stolen from a Himalayan monastery that transports him back in time to 1928, the Jazz Age where he meets a shy, closeted clerk.

I hope you enjoy them.
