Stephen P. Cook is the founder of Project Worldview (www.projectworldview.org)
He’s authored numerous scientific and popular publications—including the1990 book Coming of Age in the Global Village (with Donella Meadows), The Worldview Literacy Book (2009), and contributions to volumes in the Springer Science Cellular Origin, Life in Extreme Habitats and Astrobiology series (2012-13). He has over thirty years experience as an educator—notably at Arkansas Tech University, The Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences, and more recently for New Mexico State University. After receiving an advanced degree in physics from UCLA, he rebelled against narrow specialization seeking instead to “intellectually and experientially sample a big chunk of all life has to offer.” In doing so he’s humbly attended The School of Hard Knocks, and recently has become an old dog trying to learn new tricks as songwriter and performer.
