Jack Myers

Jack Myers is a media ecologist, futurist, and author with five decades of experience forecasting how technology reshapes human behavior, organizational culture, and the economics of attention.

He is the founder of MediaVillage and The Myers Report, and a recipient of the George Foster Peabody Award. His previous books include The Future of Men, which anticipated the gender politics shift that preceded #MeToo, Hooked Up, and Virtual Worlds: Rewiring Our Emotional Future. He has been an Academy Award and Emmy nominee, a TEDWomen speaker, and a trusted advisor to leaders at General Motors, Microsoft, CBS, Warner Bros. Discovery, and The Walt Disney Company, among many others.

His 2025 book The Tao of Leadership: Harmonizing Technological Innovation and Human Creativity in the AI Era won the Global Book Award and became a multi-category bestseller, establishing the framework his current work builds upon. Your Third Brain is its natural successor, moving from philosophy to practice: a decision-making framework for leaders navigating a world being remade by artificial intelligence. Your Third Brain is not a prediction about the future. It is your new personal operating system for making decisions inside it.

The Kissinger Conspiracy marks Jack’s first venture into fiction. Grounded in extensive historical research and informed by his proximity to media, intelligence, and policy institutions, the novel reflects his long-standing interest in how history is shaped not only by what is documented, but by what is normalized, concealed, or forgotten.

Jack studied at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School and holds a master's degree in media ecology from NYU Steinhardt, where he studied under Dr. Neil Postman. He publishes The Myers Report on Substack, co-hosts the Lead Human podcast, and leads the MediaVillage Education Foundation.
