Peter C. Conrad

Peter C. Conrad is a writer with experience in writing short stories, articles, non-fiction books, the novel, on-line course content, instructional design, journalism, and encyclopaedia articles. Never accepting limitations, Peter has had successes in diverse writing approaches. He is a storyteller, teacher, and artist.

The sweep of my writing is wide including: Short Stories one produced on CBC radio and the other accepted by a literary magazine.

Training for Victory: the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan in the West published in 1989 by Western Producer Prairie Books.

First Flights, is a collection of historical creative non-fiction for young readers.

Beyond Time is a full length alternate history inspired by anomalies Peter Conrad found over the years in archives while researching historical works, leaving intriguing questions about alternative histories.

Peter Conrad is the author of Canadian Wartime Prison Escapes: Courage & Daring Behind Enemy Lines, published by Folklore Publishing (Edmonton) in 2007.

Peter has published in periodicals including Folklore, Western People, Heritage Link, Writer's Lifelines, and The Alberta Teachers' Association Magazine. Peter Conrad held the position of Senior Editor and Writer for the Alberta Online Encyclopaedia.
