J. Clontz

Dr. J. (Michael) Clontz has a five-year engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has a doctoral degree from Aidan University. He was a member of the Department of Defense where he received citations and commendations from the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief Engineer of the Navy. He also received the US Navy Procurement Award and was nominated for the Department of Defense Engineer of the Year award.

Dr. Clontz is the co-developer of the cross-reference module in Accordance Bible Software. His database of parallels between hundreds of ancient texts and the Bible is used by over ten thousand universities and libraries around the globe. His Biblical research includes the identification of an agrapha (lost saying) underlying a portion of the text in Luke 3:18. At the American Academy of Religion, Dr. Clontz presented evidence identifying a manuscript derived from the ‘narrative’ mentioned in Luke 1:1-4.
