Jim Aikin

Jim Aikin is a well-respected author of both fiction and nonfiction. His novels include the new Leafstone fantasy series. His most recent release (or upload, if you prefer) is a new edition of The Wall at the Edge of the World; first published in 1993, it has been out of print for some years. Also in the pipeline are a new YA fantasy mystery novel, a mystery set in ancient Rome, and a collection of short stories.

For more than 30 years, Jim was an active contributor to Keyboard and Electronic Musician magazines, and he's internationally known as an expert on music technology. The popular title "Power Tools for Synthesizer Programming" was updated with a 2nd edition in 2015, and is used as a textbook in university classes. He's also a cellist and the author of several text adventure games.
