Matt Hart

Matt Hart is the author of thirteen books of poetry, including most recently FALLING FINE: Selected & New Poems (Pickpocket Books). From 1993-2019 he was a co-founder and the editor-in-chief of Forklift, Ohio: A Journal of Poetry, Cooking, & Light Industrial Safety. The Head of Creative Writing at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and a faculty mentor in the PNCA/Willamette University Low-Residency MFA Program, he lives in Cincinnati where he plays in the post-punk/indie rock band NEVERNEW and edits, solders, and publishes the poetry journal SOLID STATE.
