Gloria Heidi

Gloria Heidi has a rich Hollywood background -- behind and in front of the camera. A protégé of the legendary Academy Award designer Edith Head, she is a producer, film and fashion historian, and an expert on Classic Hollywood. 

Gloria’s on-camera credits include: over 50 TV commercials, news anchor, and host of her own daytime TV-Talk show. Gloria was also national television spokesperson for the Clairol Corp. (13 years). She produced TV features in Paris for Givenchy and has often appeared as a featured guest on major TV shows including Oprah, Regis, and The Tonight Show. Her current TV project is “Hollywood In Stitches - In The Movies, Costumes Tell The Story.”

A best-selling author of five books, she has written and produced documentaries seen nationwide on PBS. Gloria’s books include HANG-UPS! For 10 years Gloria’s companies have developed and produced a series of unique 1-hour musical cabaret programs about enchanted Golden Age Hollywood and its Great Stars -- as part of a community outreach plan. These very popular programs are also made available to senior facilities under a Foundation grant.
