Dorcas Kelley

Dorcas Kelley is passionate about the success of your life and your lifework! Her vision is to transform the world of coaching, one coach at a time, by helping each one discover power and confidence as the leader of their coaching business. She is committed not only to the success of each individual coach, but also to the long-term flourishing of the industry.

Dorcas coaches entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, professionals and high achievers of all kinds to reach the next level of success in their business and personal lives. In person and in writing, she skillfully blends head and heart, creative intelligence along with calm compassion and humor, in all her work.

A successful entrepreneur and business owner since 1993, she is a popular teacher, speaker, workshop and teleclass leader. She’s on the faculty of The Coaches Training Institute, a repeat presenter at the global conferences for the International Coach Federation and a frequent guest-lecturer at other professional coaching schools and organizations. She also teaches entrepreneurship courses for De Anza College in Cupertino CA and for the Stanford Advanced Program Management curriculum.

Her book, The Business of Coaching, is required or recommended reading for a growing number of professional coaching schools.

Dorcas is a Master Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through The Coaches Training Institute and a Certified Management Consultant through the Institute of Management Consultants. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, her credentials also include an MBA from UC Los Angeles.

A dedicated community volunteer, Dorcas works to bring literacy to disadvantaged populations and also fosters dogs for her local Humane Society. A resident of Northern California, she often spends her precious free time hiking with her canine companion Abby and her current foster dog.
