Nancy Sweetland

Nancy Sweetland believes in living a full life. She's bungy-jumped from the high bridge in Christchurch, New Zealand, zip-lined in Mexico, and ballooned over elephants herds in Africa. She loves to read - of course - play golf, pickle ball, Scrabble and Bridge, has travelled widely and is always looking for new and adventurous things to try.

Writing ever since getting her first rejection at age 13, she's won over 65 regional and national awards in fiction, poetry, essays and articles.

She writes adult romance, mystery and mainstream fiction as well as middle-grade and children's picture books, and always has at least one book in progress. Her large family (7 children, 5 stepchildren and 31 grandchildren) just keeps growing and is up to seven great-grandchildren, at last count. She says, "It's never dull, and that's the way I like it.”
