Howard Brian Edgar

Born in New York City and began writing in the 5th grade when I wasn't running for my life from the Harlem gangs. Continued writing through high school and college where I was fortunate to have two National Book Award winners as my English professors.

I have earned my living as a writer for more than 40 years and I've written just about everything you can imagine – ad copy, poetry, short stories, newspaper and magazine articles, blogs, podcasts, webinars, a dozen screenplays, corporate films, two non-fiction books and a post-apocalyptic sci-fi novel called RUNAWAY MOON. I am currently in the beta reader phase of my second novel, a medical thriller entitled THOR'S HAMMER.

I love writing. Though it's challenging and quite intense, it never feels like "work." And I love the amount of control I have over my work as a self-published author.
