Sylvia Maultash Warsh

Sylvia Maultash Warsh was born in Germany, and emigrated to Canada as a child. She is the author of the Dr. Rebecca Temple mystery trilogy, the second of which, Find Me Again, won an Edgar Award. To Die in Spring was shortlisted for the Arthur Ellis Best First Novel Award; Season of Iron was shortlisted for a ReLit Award. Her fourth novel, The Queen of Unforgetting, was chosen for a plaque by Project Bookmark Canada. Her novella, Best Girl, was published as a Rapid Reads book. Her new book,The Orphan, will be published in May 2024. Her short stories have appeared in Ellery Queen, Down & Out, Black Cat, Cool Canadian Crime, among others. Many have been shortlisted for Derringers and Crime Writers of Canada Awards. She lives in Toronto and teaches creative writing to seniors.
