John J. Friel

John Friel was born in Philadelphia and lives in Furlong, PA. He is the former technical director of Princeton Gamma-Tech, a manufacturer of x-ray and gamma-ray spectroscopy systems and image analyzers. Previously, he was a research supervisor at Bethlehem Steel Corp. and an assitant professor of geology at Temple University. He is a former president of the Microbeam Analysis Society and a fellow of ASTM.
