Michael Carin

Michael Carin is the author most recently of the Guernica Prize-winning novel "Edisson and Jeremiah", which posits history's most controversial magic show while laying bare the pathological duality of American culture. His previous works include “The Kremlin Papers” (2020), "Guilty Men " (2019), "Churchill At Munich" (a novel of alternate history; winner of the Whistler Book Award for fiction), "The Anti-Trump" (2016), "The Future Jew" (2001), "The Neutron Picasso" (1989), and "Five Hundred Keys" (1980). Mr. Carin's books have identified him as a questing, inventive and always supremely readable writer. Trained as a political theorist at McGill University, he wrote book reviews and feature articles for The Montreal Gazette, then served as Editor-in-Chief of Montreal Business Magazine for many years.
