A former school nurse, I searched unsuccessfully for literature on the common genetic disorder of color vision deficiency (CVD) or colorblindness, which affects 1:12 males and 1:200 females. To fill this need, I wrote Color is in the Eye of the Beholder for children and Color is in the Eye of the Beholder for older readers. I feel strongly that everyone should know the challenges that people who are colorblind face, just as they realize the difficulties that people with other disorders face.

My debut novel, Dinner for Two, a romantic-comedy-adventure, was recently released by Echelon Press. It's no wonder that the hero of Dinner for Two is colorblind! Discover how this fits into the plot by reading the book.
