Mickey Skee

Mickey Skee has written more than a dozen books on the adult industry, including award-winning fiction books like "The Hollywood Hardcore Diaries" and the "Bad Boys Collection." He started awards shows for the adult industry to help raise money for AIDS-related and free-speech charities.

He continues to be known as a historian of the gay adult world, with his collections of articles, books, erotica and photographs housed at the Lambda Gay Archives in San Diego.

He has interviewed hundreds of stars for dozens of magazines and continues to describe his exploits in award-winning erotica featuring stories that blur his real-life experiences and fiction. His Best Of ... collection is as timely and funny as the era it was written in, known as the "Golden Age of Gay Porn."

He appears, often as a comedic extra, in some titles, but always with clothes on, and has appeared in or assisted in dozens of documentaries including "Circus of Books" and "The Making of Michael Lucas."

Playwright Ronnie Larson put Mickey Skee's character in his plays "Shooting Porn" and "Making Porn" and Kyle Schickner's "Full Frontal" includes a cameo by Mickey. A personal biography of the Porn Brat Pack is being made about the life and death of Joey Stefano featuring Mickey's exploits and friendships.

His erotic stories continue to entice and excite.
