Hobert Winebrenner

Hobert Winebrenner served in World War II as a young sergeant with the 358th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division. After war, he returned home to rural Indiana, where he married, raised a family, and got on with life. Yet, as with most combat veterans, the war always remained a part of him.

Winebrenner co-authored his story, BOOTPRINTS: AN INFANTRYMAN’S WALK THROUGH WORLD WAR II, with friend and freelance writer, Michael McCoy.
