Lee Godden

Lee Godden was born in England, emigrating to America at age 10. He served in the U.S. Navy and later earned a bachelors degree and studied post-graduate business at Pepperdine University. After working ten years in high technology Lee began selling computer network solutions to Fortune 1000 and government customers. He advanced into sales management and built a reputation as an effective leader of large sales teams. Lee wrote business articles for various journals and newspapers. An advocate of Zen's non-religious, science-of-the-mind benefits to business, in 2003 Lee wrote "ZenWise Selling: Mindful Methods to Improve Your Sales...and Your Self." Lee's book has been translated into several languages and is distributed worldwide. As an organizational trainer, Lee has taught thousands of professionals and leaders how to sell passionately, succeed financially and grow personally. Doing business with a Zen mind, Lee believes, builds long-term customer relationships based on credibility, trust and ethics. Sales stress is also reduced. Lee co-founded Advantage Improv, a company that teaches organizations how to boost creativity, collaboration and communication skills by leveraging an improviser's mindset.
