George Baxter

George H Baxter has been a professional strategic gamer, practicing corporate lawyer, and hedge fund portfolio manager. He is currently the CEO and Portfolio manager at Sabrepoint Capital Management, a long/short hedge fund based in Dallas. George was previously a partner with Hirzel Capital Management, a long/short equity hedge fund based in Dallas. Prior to becoming an investment professional, George was a private equity attorney with Weil, Gotshal and Manges. George is a CFA charter holder. He graduated from University of Texas School of Law and holds a BA from Texas A&M University. Prior to attending law school, George was a professional strategic game player and author. George has a passion for strategic thought and has authored several books and numerous articles on the topic.
