Growing up in Taipei, Taiwan in 1960's, I started to practice Tan Tui and Chinese wrestling (Shuai Jiao). From the Kuoshu club in high school, I learned Mantis boxing (Tang Lang) and some swordplay. With private teachers, I learned Tong Bei and Ba Ji in 1970's. During the college years, Tai Chi and Ba Gua were introduced to me. I maintained a training schedule after lessons from teachers.

Both general introduction and style specific books were written.
