Sam Oglesby

I was born in the segregated South 70 years ago and have travelled the world since then. My second book "Encounters: A Memoir - Relationship Journeys from Around the World" describes adventures and experiences I have had. The people I met over the years fill these pages - princes, paupers, clowns, villains, sinners and a few saints. There are even a pair of dancing goats who waltz on a deserted ballroom floor!

The fifteen true stories in my book will make your laugh and sometimes cry and always you will be entertained, amused and hopefully, enlightened a bit.
