Carol Ann Dunitz

Carol Dunitz is a writer, composer, actor and singer who has enjoyed successful careers in writing, marketing, speaking and performance. She ran a boutique marketing firm for many years and continues to take on select advertising and speechwriting projects.

Carol is the author of numerous books including 'Louder Than Thunder,' which has received over two dozen positive reviews in national media, 'One Hungry Child,' 'Already Spoken For,' and 'Can't Help Falling in Love' with David W. Menefee. She is currently touring in a one-woman musical, ‘Bernhardt on Broadway,’ about Sarah Bernhardt for which she wrote the music, script, and lyrics. Audiences have been head over heels for the musical; after a recent performance one attendee bent down and kissed the hem of her dress when they met in the lobby.

Carol also speaks professionally, dressing in costume and singing original songs for numerous presentations that center on how to communicate effectively. Topics include Schmooze or Lose, Interpersonal Communication in the Workplace, Top Notch Customer Service, and Sure Fire Sales and Negotiating. She has written and produced numerous audio CDs to supplement her programs.

Carol has four daughters: Helen, Dorothy, Risa, and Jocelyn. She is an avid sportswoman who particularly enjoys golf and tennis. She has held leadership positions in many professional and charitable organizations. Carol has a B.A. in Theatre and English from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Speech Communication and Theatre from Wayne State University.
