Lynda Terry

Lynda Terry is a writer, meditation teacher, subtle activist and author of the book, "The 11 Intentions: Invoking the Sacred Feminine as a Pathway to Inner Peace." She also served as founder of Vessels of Peace, a spiritual service network for women. This network, which was active from 2002 to 2010, played a key role in the development of subtle activism practices - such as meditation, deep listening and sacred space holding – for use by in-person groups or circles and in virtual gatherings via teleconference or webcast formats. Lynda's essay, “Becoming a Vessel of Peace,” is featured in the 2011 book, "Women, Spirituality and Transformative Leadership: Where Grace Meets Power."

Lynda has recorded meditation CDs and conducted numerous workshops, classes and retreats on meditation, peacemaking, women's spirituality and other topics. She also spent 30 years in the communications field and as a consultant to non-profits and individuals who are in service to a peaceful world.

Lynda periodically contributes to The Divine Feminine blog on Patheos.com. Her Facebook page, Spirit Woman Sanctuary, is a contemplative space dedicated to nurturing the feminine spirit in all, and she tweets about all things peace-related via @atasteofpeace. In the summer of 2013, Lynda's updated anniversary edition of her first book will be released in ebook and audio formats under the title "Invoking the Sacred Feminine as a Pathway to Inner Peace."
