John G. Ives

John G. Ives is the author of American Originals: John Waters (1992) and The Keeper (2014), and is an entertainment attorney and film business veteran. He founded Cinecom Films, one of the first successful independent film companies, with such films as A Room With A View and Stop Making Sense, and was CEO of FilmDallas Pictures, the company behind Kiss of the Spider Woman and A Trip to Bountiful. John works with independent and documentary filmmakers, many of whose programs have aired on PBS stations. In 2013, John and Justine Ives founded Bohéme Publishing in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
