David Hansen

Born in the wild and wooly 1970's to old-school Scandinavian parents, David has the advantage of being a risk taker - go on, drink from the hose - and fatalistic about the results - something is going to kill you so you shouldn't spend too much time worrying about it.

Being a life long student of history and viewing it through the lens of Midwestern pragmatism, he strives to find the core Truth in all things and holds dear the belief that Truth is not relative but a singular reality throughout the Universe. His dog agrees with him, his wife, not so much, but it's still a great marriage.

David's hope is that someone learns something from his writing, even if it's just to consider an unthought of nugget of wisdom for a brief and fleeting moment.

Born in the Midwest and graced by God to have moved to the Southwest in his teen years by a father on an ever elusive quest to move to a warmer climate, David fell in love with the rugged and craggy landscape and the independent attitude of its people.

Amongst other things, David is a graduate of Gunsite Academy and holds his Expert Rating in higher esteem than he does his college diploma.
