Jackie Richards

Jackie Richards is an award-winning author who has called on her many life experiences and profession in writing The Pinnacle Seven—her latest novel.

Jackie grew up in the Washington D.C. area and graduated from Washington-Lee High School. She has always been fascinated by the inner workings of the federal system. Jackie has worked for the United States government; was employed by a small-town newspaper as a photo-journalist writing both feature and humorous articles; served as a corporate Secretary-Treasurer for a consulting firm; and for most of her life has been a community activist. Through her affiliation with the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), she has helped raise thousands for Alzheimer’s research.

Writing and reading have always been part of Jackie’s passion in life and she has instilled this passion in her own two daughters, two sons, grandchildren and now great-grandchildren.

She was pleased to be able to inspire hundreds of school children to read and write during her schools visits while promoting her book Charlie Dog Two and Mustard (now out of print).

Jackie currently lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
