Carol Roan

Carol Roan fell in love with the sound of words as a child and began singing them professionally at eighteen. Thirty years later she began to write her own words and was elected to Poets & Writers of New Jersey. Between those two phases of her life, she raised three children as a single mother by working as a corporate vice president and as a marketing consultant. She now teaches voice and stage presence in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she also edits, leads workshops, and is President of Winston-Salem Writers.
