In many languages … Selas birth name literally translates to ‘rock shepherd’. Sela was born and raised in the Philadelphia area where her father worked as a chemist and patent attorney. In her early twenties she attended a lecture on the Hypothesis of Healing with Gems and Crystals; which inspired her to seek the truth in science to confirm the mineral kingdom as tools for wellness. The original information was gleaned one stone at a time over several years; through various methods; using kinesiology and known chemical standards. She compiled the basic information and wrote the first book, Rock-Medicine, Earth’s Healing Stones From A-Z. After 25 years of consistent results, she has refined that knowledge to take our understanding of this system to the next level. With 5 years of research into biochemistry and verification via cutting edge medical advances; she offers this book for those who wish to use rocks, stones, crystals and gems as she does…for medicine. Sela now resides in small town in Arkansas, the crystal state with her dear husband Paul.
