Gerald Shingleton

Gerald Shingleton grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, earned a professional five year degree in architecture from California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California (1971), and practiced architecture in Lake Arrowhead, California for twenty years before moving to Arizona where he is a senior principal for a Phoenix based architectural firm. He founded CadArm Publications marketing to the professional design industry supplying CAD details and his first book, 'Architects Reference Manual'. His second published work (released in October of 2009) is a novel, 'Journey to Terra Incognita - Epiphany in Time', an exciting adventure about Edgar Cayce's prediction of locating the famed Atlantean Fire-Stone in the unchartered jungles of Guatemala. Research for the story engaged his design talents in interpreting the purpose, construction, and performance of the valued artifact where he prepared detailed drawings and constructed a working model of the device.

Gerald's most popular book is "Real Estate Math - Completely Explained." The easy to understand explanations read like a story, not a text book, making the subject fun, exciting, and very helpful for students of real estate in overcoming the frustrations of not understanding math test questions.
