J. M. Hirsch

J.M. Hirsch is a James Beard Award winning writer and editor. He is editorial director of Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street, a Boton-based food media company with public television and radio shows, a magazine, cookbooks, an online school and e-commerce site. He is the former national food editor for The Associated Press.

He lives in New Hampshire with his son, husband and two cats. He has written four cookbooks, including “Shake Strain Done,” “High Flavor, Low Labor” and “Beating the Lunchbox Blues.” He has edited several others, including "Christopher Kimball's Milk Street: The New Home Cooking” and “Milk Street Tuesday Nights.”
