Jonathon Y. C. Cheah

Dr. Cheah has over 30 years of commercial wireless communication product design experience, ranging from 0.18um semiconductors to satellite ground stations, and in frequencies from 125 KHz RFID to 30 GHz satellite links. He held CEO and CTO positions in a few wireless corporations, and founded 2 wireless semiconductor start-up companies. He published a communications text book, tens of technical papers, contributed chapters to a textbook and an encyclopedia. Dr. Cheah has 19 issued patents in wireless communications. He holds an Extra Class Amateur Radio license with the call sign NZ0C, He can be heard some nights on 80, 40, 20, 2 meter and 70 cm bands. Currently he is spending most of his time working on SDR and wireless MANET networking technologies.
