Kathryn Witt

Kathy Witt is an award-winning travel and lifestyle writer whose travels take her all over the world to share its stories. Favorite sights include penguins in Antarctica, the glaciers of Alaska; fjords of Norway; castles of Scotland and palaces of Russia; and the small towns of America, including Salem, aka "Witch City."

Kathy writes a monthly syndicated cruise and travel column for Tribune News Service and is a regular contributor to Kentucky Living, Georgia, Southern Living, Long Weekends and Real Food Traveler, among others. She is a member of the Authors Guild.

Her writing has led to many cherished experiences and memories, including seeing Antarctica - a bucket list destination she dreamed of experiencing for many years, glacier walking in the foothills of Denali, witnessing the Garden of Fugatives in Pompeii and being a Guardian on an Honor Flight from Louisville, KY to Washington D.C.

Kathy has written eight books and is currently working on her ninth - a travel book about Kentucky. A favorite project she has worked on many times over the years is writing the Official Kentucky Visitors Guide. What a beautiful place to visit and call home - with picturesque small towns, unique attractions, great food and lots and LOTS of bourbon distilleries.
