I started teaching Computing Science in Scottish Secondary schools in 1994. 5 years later I was promoted to department head where I developed my love of writing teaching resources, which I now share freely or sell all over the world.

Following almost 20 years of marking, exam writing, coursework writing (and much more) for SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority), I left teaching in 2017 to work full time as their Computing teaching specialist. In this role I am involved in the revision of Scottish Computing qualifications and help staff across Scotland deliver them.
