Randall A. Maxey

Randall Maxey (1960-) was born and raised in Delaware, Ohio. In the 1990s he had a consulting business specializing in the use of Autodesk's AutoCAD software. It was during this time that he authored, co-authored, and served as technical editor for several technology books.

Having a lifelong interest in woodworking, in 2005 he changed careers and moved to Des Moines, Iowa to become an editor for two woodworking magazines. In 2015 he moved to Florida's Gulf Coast. He still contributes to several woodworking magazines, teaches, and produces woodworking video content.
