J. R. Madaus

After working as a university library dean and director for over fourteen years, I have now retired from formal employment after 21 years in the world of large scale computer systems providing library automation services.

My avocation is the exploration of consciousness as described in my book: Think Logically, Live Intuitively. I believe that there is a great deal going on all the time at the macro and micro level and part of our job in this lifetime is to learn more about how all of these things are interconnected.

I have been blissfully married to my soulmate and best friend, Ms. Pamela for over 40 years which makes this journey not only worthwhile but an immense amount of fun.

I am currently working on my second book with a working title of Active Serenity that will explore not only continued explorations in consciousness, but the process of bringing the metaphysical into the here and now of physical reality. I continue researching the world of direct physical and non-physical interplay with ongoing experimentation at the casino and thoroughbred race track. I believe it is a multi-layered and multi-interconnected universe that we interact with in many ways we are unaware of.

I think that being willing to challenge our most basic belief systems and seek the interrelationship in all things is a key to the growth of our selves and our species. I also think that we should all regularly remind ourselves that enjoy means IN JOY, and we should do as much of that as humanly possible.
