Scott E. Friedman

As the Managing Partner of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP in Buffalo, New York I dedicate a large part of my practice to consulting with family businesses across the United States. I enjoy learning about each family I work with - and their unique circumstances - so that, together, we can create a plan to enhance their prospects for ensuring a healthy business and happy family members, from generation to generation.

I have enjoyed continuing to learn about families in business together and my research that goes into each of my books has helped me to develop new planning strategies that are now part of the curriculum at the University at Buffalo's Family Business Center, where I am an Executive in Residence. These same strategies are used in my consulting business, Next Gen Advisors, LLC.

When I'm not busy with my law and consulting practice, I enjoy spending time with my wife of more than 25 years and our children and grandchildren.
