Chris Hughes

My name is Chris B. Hughes. I grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and I now live in West Jefferson, NC, I'm a passionate, pastoral, prophet...a father, friend, husband, musician writer. I'm a retired "professional Christian" (pastor), finding liberation from tribal religion and denominational orthodoxy. You could say that I am a pneumanaut ("pneuma" is Greek for "spirit"). I understand the world largely through metaphors. My wife Gloria and I have five children and we share a passion for things of the Spirit. We are committed to making disciples and "equipping the saints for their work of ministry."

I've recently published a children's book titled Princess Mary Elizabeth's Birthday Wish and I'm finishing a manuscript called Possible Faith - for those who are finding it less than so.
