Sheri Ritchlin

Sheri Ritchlin was born in Batavia, New York in 1944. She received her B.A. from Skidmore College and her Ph.D. in Philosophy and Religion at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Her dissertation on "The Return of the Sage: A New Cosmology Meets the Way of Heaven and Earth in the I Ching" was completed under the supervision of Yi Wu, Richard Tarnas and Brian Swimme. She is the author of "One-ing" (based on the I Ching), "Dream to Waken: A Handbook for Dreamers, Dream Groups and Therapists" and "A Farm in Marin: Portraits in Time from Pangaea to Point Reyes." She has chapters in "The Spirit of a Woman: Stories to Empower and Inspire," "The Evolutionary Epic: Science's Story and Humanity's Response," "Science, Wisdom and the Future," and "Thomas Berry's Work: Development, Difference, Importance, Applications."
