John M. Yeats

Connecting people to history, theology, and culture drives the core of my writing and teaching. During the day, I serve the incredible learning community at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Spurgeon College as Dean of Students and Associate Professor of Church History. On weekends, I can often be found with family at church, on the sidelines of the soccer pitch, or at cheer competition. When I can, I enjoy speaking to congregations about how we can better reflect the Gospel in a world that doesn't often understand.
