Mike's first book, Murder Most Holy, introduced readers to Deputy Attorney General Parker Noble, state police Detective Sergeant Jerome (Stan) Stankowski, and newspaper reporter Buffy Coyle during their investigation of the murder of a young nun, Anna Marie Winborn in the city of Forbes Island, where Anna Marie's father was the newspaper publisher.
The book was published in hardback by Five Star in 2006 and was reprinted in paper back in 2008 by Worldwide mystery.
