Dan Kennedy

Dan Kennedy is a professor of journalism at Northeastern University in Boston and a nationally known media commentator who has written for GBH News, the Nieman Journalism Lab, The Guardian and other publications and websites. The author of three books, Kennedy is the co-host, with Ellen Clegg, of "What Works: The Future of Local News," a podcast and website that's online at whatworks.news. Their book, "What Works in Community News: Media Startups, News Deserts, and the Future of the Fourth Estate," will be published by Beacon Press in January 2024.
