Nigel C. Benson

Nigel C. Benson is an award-winning, international best-selling author and illustrator, published in 33 languages. His works are on the reading lists of universities, schools and other institutions throughout the world.

His most popular book is "Introducing Psychology" (2007) Icon Books, originally published as "Psychology For Beginners" (1998). His other Icon books are "Introducing Psychotherapy" and "Introducing Psychiatry".

He has written many psychological articles, such as those for The Reader's Digest published in the books: "The Conscious and Unconscious Brain", "A Good Memory", "The Healing Brain", and "Making The Most Of Your Brain".

"The Psychology Book", published by Dorling Kindersley (Penguin Group), won the 2012 "Book Of The Year Award" by The British Psychological Society for "excellence in psychological literature".

In 2023, Nigel C. Benson was chosen by the University of East London as a "Distinguished Alumnus" for the 125-Year Anniversary celebrations.
