LaVerne Ludden

I am the author of more than 12 books focused on leadership, career, and business development. My writing is inspired by a desire to help individuals maximize their potential as both leaders and followers. Many organizations and leaders lack the wisdom to recognize and utilize the talents of people working in their organizations. Many followers lack the understanding of how to use their talent to find meaning in life and express that meaning through their work. The books I’ve written are designed to help people achieve these ends.

My career began as a social worker focused on workforce development programs, such as Neighborhood Youth Corps, Green Thumb, and CETA. After several years working on the frontline of helping people develop and advance their careers, I completed a Master of Public Administration combined my work experience and education in consulting with leaders about workforce development. Upon completion of my Ed.D. in adult and community education, I began teaching leadership at Purdue University, LeTourneau University, and Indiana Wesleyan University. The books I’ve written and continue to write are inspired by the knowledge, understanding and wisdom I’ve been blessed to acquire in life and share it with others.
