Alex Bennet

Alex's life has taken many shifts and turns, many of which are reflected in the variety of books available on Amazon. Dr. Alex Bennet is co-founder with her partner Dr. David Bennet of the Mountain Quest Institute (MQI), a research and retreat center nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia dedicated to helping individuals achieve personal and professional growth and organizations create and sustain high performance in a rapidly-changing, uncertain and increasingly complex world. Alex served as the Chief Knowledge Officer and Deputy Chief Information Officer for Enterprise Integration for the U.S. Department of the Navy (DON), was an initial co-chair of the Federal KM Working Group, was formerly the Acquisition Reform Executive and Standards Improvement Executive for the DON Acquisition workforce, and is the recipient of the Distinguished and Superior Public Service Awards from the U.S. government. She has degrees in Human and Organizational Systems, Human Development, Management for Organizational Effectiveness, English and Marketing. Dr. Bennet is affiliated with several Universities in the US, is a Professor at Bangkok University, and is part of the international “KM Dream Team” launching BU’s new Ph.D. program in Knowledge and Innovation Management. She also serves on the International Advisory Board of the World Capital Institute, the international organization that sponsors the MAKCi (Most Admired Knowledge City) award.

The last 7 years Alex and David have explored the mystery of the "Myst", a phenomena in which their internal and external worlds collide. With a focus on balance and integration, they find themselves in an ever-expanding Universe of knowledge and experience, which provides the passion for their books.

We are all holistic beings, and there is so much we have learned from the variety and diversity of our experiences! All of this is part of the 2017 release of five books (parts) of The Profundity and Bifurcation of Change: The Intelligent Social Change Journey. So much appreciation for our co-authors, and a number of books paving the way along this journey.
