Jim Marbles

Jim Marable has the attention span of a gnat.

He has ADD-HD. Adult deficit disorder in High Definition.

And as a result, he usually starts but sometimes doesn’t finish a book.

So, he writes books that he thinks fellow distractibles would love: fast paced, short chapters, to the point.

His books from the 90’s were a result of two of his on-air features. A listener told him the bits would make great books.

The listener ran Honor Books. Joyce Meyer’s publisher (at the time), and the source of the “God’s Little Instruction Book” series.

The TIMEFOLD series was a direct result of insomnia. Spinning fanciful tales mentally helped him nod off.

After ten years of putting down scattered ideas, notes were put into a cohesive order and the stories completed.

Now he lays awake waiting for more ideas.

He finally retired after too many years of radio, television, social media and voice work.

You might recognize his voice from things. He has done interesting stuff and won cool awards, blah blah blah.

In reality, he is a curmudgeon beset with continual eye rolls from his wife of nearly five decades: Saint Georganne the Magnanimous.

He built their own house twenty years ago, but it will never be finished. He is continually redoing, building, and fixing things, incurring injuries proportional to each project.

Pastimes include tech gadgets, archaeology, artwork, and tracking packages.

Jim loves dogs, eating and sleeping, and caramel.

…and, like every “author bio”, he feels weird writing about himself in the third person. Probably.
