Karen Rispin

Karen grew up in Kenya as a child of missionaries. God’s grace through Jesus is central to her and tied into her love of God’s beauty in nature. She has taught biology as an associate professor at LeTourneau University and has trained horses in Canada and Texas. She is an avid nature photographer and her photographic art has sold to private collectors and galleries. God’s grace in brokenness is key to her. She’s currently leading a project that reaches out though mission hospitals to children with disabilities in low-income areas. Karen's experiences in Africa and Canada and her love of nature are woven throughout the children's christian action adventure books and the adult adventure romance books she has written.
