Patrick Brassell

I've been writing stories since I was old enough to hold a pencil. At first they came out as plays, but I've always read fiction, so in my 30s I started writing novels. They pour out of me every year. So far only one of them has been published, but I'm working to make another one happen.

"On a Bus to St. Cloud" was inspired by my ex and his best friend. They were (and still are) total opposites, different in every conceivable way, and yet they loved each other fiercely. I'd never seen a relationship like that in fiction. I wanted to bring it to life. So here it is.
